Lazarides - Adrian Parkes

On Friday afternoon I had a message to call John Bracken from the art installation company Patina. I spoke to John who needed us to make a stretcher to a specific size urgently for the opening of the new Lazarides gallery in Fitzrovia or NoHo as they are calling it. The painting that had to be stretched is by the artist collective Faile. The painting would have been sent last minute from the States for this show. As always they need supports made last week like the massive Faile show we made the stretchers for last year. We are always happy to do things in a rush provided they have given us enough time to actually do the work! I am looking forward to seeing the show and the new Lazrides Gallery.

The new gallery opens on Rathbone Place, Fitzrovia this Friday. The inaugural show will include works by Antony Micallef, Faile, Bast, Jonathan Yeo, JR and David Choe.
